4. Wait for the officer to return the salute.
5. Remain at attention, unless instructed otherwise.
6. When the meeting is over, the officer will say, “Dismissed.”
7. Come to attention (if not already),and take one step backward.
8. Salute and wait for the officer to return the salute.
9. Perform an about face and exit the area.
When in formation, this is the person that will salute for the group.
