You answer the phone and it's clearly a driver calling who needs to needs to speak to his Account Manager. Unfortunately, he's brand new and somehow forgot the name of his AM and doesn't have the number. This is what you can do to find out who he needs to talk to.
What is: Ask him his alpha code, and then you'll see to which account he's assigned. If you don't already know who the Account Manager is, you can check the Fleet Code in Workday.

When Dan Daly called to find out why a driver wasn't paid for a certain load, this is what you do before asking Nancy or Sandi.
What is:
Ask the driver's alpha and date of the check they're questioning. Go into Workday, under "Pay" and open the driver's settlements. Pull up the pay date that would include that load (check PACE to see what pay period it was. While you're there, make sure it's the driver alpha you're checking for AND that it's marked "Payable"), and check the settlement for pay.
If the load is the right driver, right pay period the driver's expecting it to be, and it's marked payable, THEN you can check with Nancy/Sandi. At that point there's something else going on that is factoring in.
