How can you serve the poor not physically?
Praying for them, encouraging others to help, being grateful, sharing

He helped him, cleaned his wounds, and took him to a safe place.
What is one way you can help in your church community?
I can help clean up, make cards for others, or pray for my church family.
How can you serve your family at home this week?
By obeying parents, helping with chores, being kind to siblings, or praying for grandparents.
Do actions or words have a bigger effect?
Actions, We can say something kind, but if we don’t do it, people might not believe us. When we act with love like helping, sharing, or serving others see God’s love in us.

What is one way you can serve someone in your family or church when they are sick?
I can make them a card, bring them food, pray for them, or call to check on them.
In Galatians 6:2, St. Paul says, “Bear one another’s burdens.” What does that mean?
It means we should help each other when life feels hard, like carrying some of their load.
In the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37), what lesson do we learn about serving the sick or hurt?
We should help people in need, even if they are strangers, because that is showing love.

They were too busy, afraid, or didn’t want to get involved, but they missed the chance to show love.
Why did Jesus send His disciples out two by two to towns (Mark 6:7–13)?
Because working together makes serving stronger and shows how important community is.
Hebrews 13:16 says, “Do not forget to do good and to share.” What does this verse teach us about serving the poor and the community?
That we should share what we have and help others, because God is pleased when we do good.
How does the Holy Spirit help us serve our family, the poor, the sick, and the community?
The Holy Spirit gives us strength, love, and reminders to live out our faith through serving others every day.

Why does helping the sick show that we love God?
Because when we care for others, we are following Jesus’ command to love our neighbor as ourselves
