Check off lunch choice (attendance), follow the directions on the board, and begin morning work!

False. I never go to random sites. If Mrs. Higgins allows me to have some education time on the computer I must go to approved sites and sites that Mrs. Higgins is allowing at the time.

After asking Mrs. Higgy! Most of the time when doing independent work.

How do I turn in papers?
At the Turn-in-Bin! First person begins a pile. Highlight your name, and staple if needed.
When can I get my Chromebook? And when should it be open/on?
After given direction to do so. Never without permission. Never during snack.
What is the difference between my supply bin and book bin?
Supplies are on the wooden shelf and hold my writing utensils, erasers, cards, etc. The book bin is on the metal shelf and holds folders and books.
Where should all loose papers that have not been turned in be placed?
In my green folder!
What is my conduct at the end of the day for dismissal?
Sitting in your chair or on the rug. Talking quietly but able to hear announcements!
How do we line up to leave the classroom?
Everyone will be seated, Mrs. H will count down and students line up quickly and quietly. When she gets to number 1, voices are off, bodies are ready to go!
What is one way that Mrs. Higgy will get your attention?

Where should my pens, pencils, etc be before dismissal?
In my supply bin and supply bin put away.
What do i do if I need to go the bathroom, get water, or go to the nurse?
Please raise your hand, ask, and place the cone on your desk.
What are the expectations when Mrs. Higgins is not in the room?
Follow the rules of the adult. Any questions can be asked to Mrs. Higgins afterwards!
Give me a rule about snack time!
Remain seated. Ask to switch seats. No sharing food! Watch the timer and be ready for learning. Pick up after yourself. Clean your desk especially of you are sitting at another's spot!
How should I treat my headphones and mice?
Place back in the bag neatly and into the bin. Do not throw or leave loose, at the table, on the rug or on the floor.
What’s your responsibility when using classroom library books?
Treat them carefully and return them to the right spot.
What should I do if I did not do my homework?
Leave the homework in the Take Home Folder and turn in the folder. If there is a reason you did not complete the homework please touch base with Mrs. Higgy.

If the fire alarm rings, what is our procedure?
Line up quietly. Follow Mrs. H. Voices are off. Last out closes the door. Hold the door for each person behind you. Listen for directions!
What happens if I do not follow the tech rules?
A conversation with Mrs. Higgins, then possibly Mrs. Giles. Possible loss of privilege and a message home.
How I get called into groups and maybe partners. What are the 4 categories I will listen for?
