The mission
What is "To change lives"?
What is it?
Autism and Autism Spectrum Disability (ASD) are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication, and repetitive behaviors.

What is ABA Services?
The cause
What is,
There is no definitive explanation as to what causes autism, but research is ongoing.
There is general consensus among most mainstream researchers that genetics plays a large role and may be responsible for up to 90 percent of the occurrences. Researchers have identified as many as 10 or more genes that may play a role in determining whether a child develops autism.
Scientific research also suggests that other factors may increase the likelihood of autism.
Prenatal risk factors such as diabetes or the use of psychotropic drugs by a mother during pregnancy may play a role in determining whether a child develops autism. Children born to older than average parents may be at greater risk. Babies born prematurely and those who experience hypoxia during birth may face a greater risk of autism. Prenatal viral infections may be the principle non-genetic cause of autism.
During ABA therapy, goals are set and then broken down into small steps. The steps are then organized into a logical order and taught one small step at a time.
We work with children with autism to help them:
...to name just a few!

Our approach
What is: Evaluation and diagnosing, Holistic care for the family, Training and Education, Data Driven decision making, Increase self determination through assent-focused care
The myth
One hypothesis, now generally rejected by autism experts and the scientific community, was that childhood immunizations were responsible for an increase in autism.
Numerous studies have been conducted to explore this hypothesis. Researchers have concluded that there is no scientific evidence to support the hypothesis that vaccines or immunizations cause autism.
The right time
Research – and our own experience over the last decade of serving families – shows that autism can be reliably diagnosed under two years of age. The earlier a therapy program begins, the better positioned children are to make the greatest gains possible.
But it's never too late to make progress through ABA therapy when the treatment and goals are individualized to ensure self-determination and improved quality of life.
The space
We have a large clinic that has 3 large group therapy rooms to practice school readiness skills, social skill activities, and space for play.
Additionally, we have a gross motor room with a rock wall, swing, and ball pit.
A game room with an air hockey table and remote controlled race cars..
A large art room for small group art classes and craft activities..
Three private focused rooms that cater to sensory needs,
and a fenced in playground!

The vision
What is:
To lead the field to a better way of providing autism care.
We have the methods. We have the means. We have the responsibility.
We deliver ABA therapy, but our approach is unique. The ideal combination of tested methods and technology. The skills and rigor of our expert clinicians, merged with artificial intelligence. Our approach helps predict better modes of care, so every child is put on the path to better outcomes. And every child we treat improves therapy for every child… and for the industry.

The therapeutic approach
To help a child develop the verbal and social skills necessary so that he or she can move from being motivated primarily by sensory and motor stimuli in the environment to being motivated primarily by verbal and social interaction with other people.
Caravel Autism Health’s ABA therapy programs help children with autism and their families to develop skills, create connections and gain confidence. Caravel Autism Health’s approach is rooted in research and results.
