The competence or skill expected of a professional.
What is professionalism?
Behavior that is acceptable and not acceptable in a specific field of work. Surprisingly, this changes in different jobs. Have you gotten your hair cut recently? How do the people at the hair shop talk to you and to each other? How about when you walk into Walmart? How about a bank? And your teacher?
What is Business Etiquette?
Being focused and reliable; finishing what you start?
What is Conscientiousness?
Always doing the right thing, even when nobody is watching you. Integrity can be hard to have 100% of the time. Especially when you are young, it will be easy to slip outside of your integrity once in a while.
Remember that your brain is still developing until your mid-twenties, so impulse control and decision-making are not always under your control right now.
Practice integrity now so that as your brain firms up integrity is a fixed point of your personality.
