How does ESBA provide treatment information to necessary stakeholders in the clients life to advocate for client needs and coordinate care?
An authorization to disclose medical information must be obtained, then ESBA works with the legal guardian to ensure that all necessary stakeholders have information necessary. When the family authorizes ESBA to collaborate and share information, ESBA imparts our approach of viewing the family as the expert on the client, and support the family in advocating for the child's needs and preferences, whenever possible.
