8:30am (BUT THAT IS CUTTING IT CLOSE!). Staff should be in the staff lounge and signed in on the sign up sheet ready for our morning meeting!

When do classes start and end? (Not individual dailies, as a whole)?
9:00am and 3:45pm
What do you do if you are running late?
Text the camp phone number (202-431-1491) with the reason you are late and your ETA. Text even if there is only a possibility! Multiple instances of tardiness will result in a meeting with camp leadership
What do you if you're in an accident on Georgetown Visitation's campus?
Report the accident to the security guard. If anybody is injured or if the accident is a hit and run, you must notify the DC Metropolitan Police.
When is inappropriate language tolerated and by whom?
Never, and no one! Inappropriate language will not be tolerated by staff or campers and must be addressed should it come up. You set the example!

What do you do if you're sick/a schedule conflict arises?
If you’re sick, email camp@arenastage.org before 7:30am with the reason and lesson plans for the day (PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CAMP IF YOU ARE SICK!). If you have an unavoidable conflict please let Becca and Rachel know as soon as possible so you can discuss sub plans and accommodations
Does camp have a copy machine?
YES! Its behind the water fountain by the secret gender neutral bathroom

What is the CAS policy on substances?
Manufacture, distribution, possession, or use of a controlled substance in prohibited at CAS. Alcohol and/or drug abuse on GV campus is prohibited. Off campus use that impairs staff’s ability to perform their duties is prohibited
What is the CAS absence policy?
Come to camp unless you are sick! And let the fun room know when/if you need to leave during the day or if you won’t be here for whatever reason

What are the guidelines for buying supplies?
Get them before camp starts if possible, stick to your budget (if you need to go over, talk to Becca first!!!), SAVE YOUR RECEIPT so that you can submit it with your filled out reimbursement form! Please note that in addition to physical supplies, you must also purchase the rights to sheet music, etc. We respect copyright at Camp Arena Stage!
What is the dress code for staff?
Keep it classy! Casual, but clean and in good repair! Shorts/skirts should be fingertip length, nothing see-through, and make sure you can move freely! Wear practical shoes, and absolutely no clothing that has suggestive language or that advertises alcohol, drugs or smoking may be worn.

Any jokes and innuendo which are perceived as derogatory or inappropriate as well as sexual harassment and bullying.
