What is a sacrament? 

A sacrament is an outward sign instituted by Christ to give grace, by that the divine life occurs in us.

Sanctifying grace is a supernatural gift, inherited in our souls, that makes us holy, and just friends and adopted sons of God

Grace that transforms us is:

What is actual grace: 

Actual grace is a supernatural gift from God to help us: 

-know good and help make it better. 

-know bad and help avoid it.

Is actual grace necessary? 

Actual grace is very necessary, because without it we wouldn't be able to do the smallest work to please God.

Christ is the source of all grace, and leads us through the sacraments.

How many sacraments are there in the Church and name them? 

There are 7 sacraments instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick (Extreme Unction), Holy Orders, and Matrimony.

What is Baptism? 

Baptism is the sacrament that makes us Christians, children of God and members of the Church.

What is the Rite of Baptism? 

During Baptism, the water is sprinkled on the head of the baptized and the following is said: N. I baptize you in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

What are the fruits of Baptism? 

The fruits of Baptism are: 

-the forgiveness of original sin and personal sins, 

-born into new life of grace, man converts as a child of God, member of Christ, temple of the Holy Spirit, 

-becomes a member of the Church.

Baptism imprints in the soul a spiritual indelible sign, the character, which consecrates to the baptized one, to the Christian religion. In regard tot he character that it prints, baptism cannot be repeated.

What is Confirmation? 

Confirmation is a sacrament that increases our grace in the Holy Spirit, in order to fortify our faith, and it makes us soldiers and apostle of Jesus Christ.

What is the rite of Confirmation? 

The essential rite for Confirmation is the anointing of sacred Chrism placed on the forehead of the Confirmed, accompanied with the imposition of the hands from the minister and repeats these words: N. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

What are the dispositions one needs to have to receive Confirmation? 

To receive Confirmation properly, you need to: (1) be in full grace of God; (2) know and profess your faith; (3) have the intention of receiving the sacrament; and (4) be preparing to assume the role of the disciple and witness of Christ, to the church, and to society.

What is the character of Confirmation? 

Confirmation spiritually marks an indelible sign on the soul of the Christian, as a soldier of the army of Christ.

The Eucharist is the Sacrament in which: 

*the true presence, real and substantial Jesus Christ through the Body and Blood, His soul and His divinity; 

*The Priest offers the sacrifice; 

*and we are nourished spiritually.

The sacrifice of the Holy Mass is the sacrifice of the praise, and the action of thanks, but is also offered to repair the sins of the living and the dead, and to obtain from God, the spiritual benefits or temporaries

Who offers the sacrifice of Holy Mass? 

It is Christ Himself, The Extreme and Eternal Priest that actually through the ministry of the priests, offers the sacrifice of the Mass. The same Christ, is truly present under the species of bread and wine, that is offered for our sacrifice.

What are the conditions in order to approach worthy to Eucharistic Communion.? 

Whoever wants to receive Christ in Eucharistic Communion must be in a state of grace. If one is conscious of sinning mortally, one must receive absolution in the sacrament of Penance, to approach the Eucharist.

What are the fruits to be worthy of receiving Communion? 

For Holy Communion: 

-increase your union with Christ; 

-be pardoned of venial sins or be preserved of mortal sins; 

-be united with the whole church; 

-it is the nourishment of the life of a Christian; 

-it is hope for eternal life, and for our body, a guarantee to our future resurrection.

Can we adore the Eucharist? 

It is necessary to adore the Eucharist, since only Christ, true God and true man this present in Her. The visit to the Blessed Sacrament is a test of gratitude, a sign of love and to recognize our Lord Jesus Christ.
