You would enter the address to the site they are scheduled at.

What is the difference between an ER visit and a hospital visit?
ER can be immediate care, as in the Pt was in and out within a few hours.
Hospital visit- Pt was admitted to the hospital, more than likely 1 day+
If a patient has two last names do you add a hyphen to their name?
No, you would add a space between the name.
If the ins. on file was verbally confirmed, what notes must you include?
Ins. on file.
If patient is calling to cancel their appointment due to transportation can you offer them an Uber?
Yes, Uber can be offered to those who have a barrier. Only applicable to some based on distance.
What must we ask a Pt who is scheduling an appt., in order to determine where to schedule them?
If they have been to ER or hospital within the last 30days.
How many appts. need to be scheduled for an Established Pt ?
3 - MA visit, visit w/Wellness provider & PCP f/u.
Can you update the patients name if its spelled incorrectly in their chart? (new/est)
No if they are established. Yes if they are new and have no encounter history.
If a Pt is being scheduled for an exclusive event date for a mammogram, what detail must you include?
Their affiliation
If you are scheduling 2 siblings with 2 different providers what must you ensure?
That they are scheduled 1 hour apart.
Advising that parent/guardian must be present for both.
Add notes 1 of 2, 2 or 2.
If Pt needs Pre-op physical but their provider is booked out, what two things must you do?
Call FD.
Add to Waitlist.
When should the 1st and 2nd appt. be scheduled ?
depending on the time, same day in the afternoon or the following day from the day of call.
2nd appt at least 48hours after the call.
If a Pt is not found when you initially search for them by name and dob, what must you do next ?
Clear the service area and you might have to break the glass upon verifying.
If a new dental Pt provides you their ins. info. what must you advise them?
To call their ins. to change PCP.
Pt needs a same-day appt., who has a sore throat, at the Medical Mobile South bus. When verifying availability, there were no openings. How will you proceed?
Warm transfer to Medical Mobile cell.
When should you schedule a NB ? and what to do if nothing is available.
3 business days from time of call.

Answer should NOT be based on "getting the Pt seen sooner.". Need the benefit in this type of visit.
How do you check if the parents name are on file for a child?
Pull up and verify Pt, click on their name as if you were updating info. then click on contact info. on right corner.
