What are two similarities of dogs and cats?
Dogs and cats are mammals, which means they are warm-blooded and have fur. They both need a loving home, healthy food, and regular visits to the vet to stay strong. Most importantly, both animals can learn to recognize their names and bond closely with their human families. The biggest difference is how much attention they need. Dogs are very social animals. They usually want to be near you all the time and need to go outside for walks several times a day. If you like being active and playing fetch, a dog might be for you!Cats are much more independent. They don't need to be walked because they use a litter box. They spend a lot of their day sleeping or grooming themselves. While cats still love to play with strings or feathers, they are usually happy to spend time alone while you are at school.

Name 2 differences between the Romans and Aztecs
The Romans and the Aztecs were famous for being great engineers. They didn't have modern machines, but they built incredible things. The Romans built long stone roads and massive theaters like the Colosseum. The Aztecs built huge stone pyramids and even created "floating gardens" on a lake! The empires were also very powerful because they had strong armies. They conquered nearby lands to grow their empires. Because they were so large, both groups created busy city centers with big marketplaces where people could trade food, jewelry, and clothes. A big difference was how they moved water. The Romans are famous for building aqueducts, which were long stone bridges that carried fresh water from the mountains into the city. The Aztecs lived in a city built on a lake so they built causeways, which were raised roads that allowed people to walk over the water to get to the city. They also wrote differently. Romans used the Latin alphabet, which is very similar to the letters we use today. The Aztecs used picture writing called glyphs. Instead of letters, they drew symbols to represent words or ideas.

What is one similarity and one difference?
Hurricanes and tornadoes are types of cyclones, which means they are made of powerful winds that spin around a center point. They both use a rating scale to tell people how dangerous they are. Scientists track both storms to help keep people safe, and both can cause a lot of damage to trees and buildings. The biggest difference is where they start and how big they are. Hurricanes are massive storms that form over warm ocean water. They can be hundreds of miles wide and last for many days. Tornadoes are much smaller and usually form over land during a thunderstorm. A tornado is usually less than a mile wide and often lasts for only a few minutes. Another difference is how much warning people get. For hurricanes they move slowly across the ocean, so meteorologists can see them coming a week in advance. Tornadoes can pop up very suddenly. People often have only a few minutes to find a safe place to hide once a tornado warning is issued.
Similarity: Both types of cyclones use a rating scale, and both can be tracked
Difference: Where they start, how big they are, and how much warning is given

What is the biggest difference?
Almost every culture in the world celebrates the start of a new year, but they don't all do it at the same time or in the same way. Two of the most famous celebrations are the New Year in the United States and the Lunar New Year in China. In both cultures, the New Year is a time for family. People travel long distances to be with their loved ones and share a special meal. Both celebrations also use fireworks and loud noises to mark the occasion. Whether it’s fireworks over a city in America or firecrackers in a village in China, the bright lights and big sounds are meant to show excitement for the future. The biggest difference is the calendar. In the United States, the New Year always starts on January 1st. In China, the Lunar New Year follows the moon, so the date changes every year (usually falling between January 21 and February 20). In the United States: Many people gather in large crowds to watch a "ball drop" at midnight. Another common tradition is making resolutions, which are goals or promises to do something better in the coming year, like exercising more or reading more books. In China, the celebration lasts for 15 days! A very popular tradition is giving "lucky money" in red envelopes to children. Red is considered a lucky color that scares away bad luck. Each year is also named after one of 12 animals, like the Year of the Dragon or the Year of the Rabbit

Give 2 similarities and 3 differences
In high school and college, you have to attend classes, take notes, and complete assignments. You will have teachers (called "professors" in college) who want you to succeed. Both places also offer extracurriculars, like sports, clubs, and student government. The biggest difference is independence. In high school, your day is usually planned for you from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and teachers often remind you when homework is due. In college, you get to pick your own schedule. You might have one class in the morning and not another one until the afternoon! In high school, you usually have small assignments due every day. In college, you might only have two or three big tests or papers for the whole semester. You have to manage your own time to make sure they get done. Most high school students also live at home with their parents. Many college students move away to live in dorms, which means they have to learn how to do their own laundry and choose their own meals.
Similarities: Go to class, take notes, do assignments, extracurriculars
Differences: independence, fewer reminders, no all-day classes, living away from home
