How many people do you need in attendance to hold a CE course?
Technically, you only need 2 people in attendance for a course. The more the merrier!

One week. You will receive a notification from Salesforce 24 hours after your course and again 7 days out.

How long does it take to schedule a course?
30 days. It takes 60 days to file a course for approval.

Are you allowed to pass around the CE Sign in Sheets? Why? or Why not?
You cannot pass around the CE Sign in Sheets as the license number for some states is the same as the participants Social Security.

What is a session coordinator? What is a session host?
A session coordinator is the host. A session host is the CE Instructor.

Can you discuss our products when presenting a CE Course?
No, the topics discussed during a CE Course must be Insurance related without discussing the specifics related to one insurance company.

What does it mean to "file" a course? What does it mean to "schedule" a course?
To file a course means to submit the course for State and Credit approval. To schedule a course, the course has already been approved and we are setting up a date for the course to be taught.

If a producer arrives 5 minutes late to a CE Course, will they still be able to receive CE credit? Why/Why not?
Yes, if a Producer arrives within 15 minutes of the start of the class the Producer can still receive credit.

What should you do if someone has a designation we do not currently offer?
Reach out to the CE team.

What do you need to know when requesting a course in Salesforce?
You need to know the date, states and designations you need credit for, the address and phone number where you are conducting the course.

How should you respond to a Broker's request to hold a CE course in less than 30 days?
Do not make any promises!! Check the course and instructor approval documents, if it has already been approved for the designations and states you need, reach out to the CE team.

No, even if the Host is CE Certified the Instructor must sign all required documents.

What are the two things you verify before submitting a course in Salesforce?
1. You must make sure the course is approved in the states required. 2. You must make sure all of the designations are approved for the course.

A CE participant left the course with a copy of the CE Presentation. What now?
You should notify Home Office and have that participant sign a confidentiality agreement.

How do you become approved to teach a SME course?
Reach out to the CE team who will put you in contact with the creator of the course. You will then work with them until they deem you an expert!

Wine Tasting, Car Show, or lunch-and-learn are all great ways to enhance a CE Course.
