These tools are made out of wire and typically used for hollowing out clay pieces and removing clay during decorating and sculpting, but can also be used as trimming tools on the wheel.

This is used for shaping and smoothing clay and can be made out of wood, metal, or silicone.
What is a rib tool.
A rotating stand used for hand-building and decorating.
What is a banding wheel.
This tool end is often used for trimming on the wheel and is made from a flat piece of metal. Usually the edges of this metal are beveled and sharpened, but not always.

We use this tool for scoring clay when attaching pieces together.
What is a toothbrush.
You can use this to roll over textured objects (such as lace or leaves), leaving imprints in the clay.
What is a brayer.
This tool is used to create multiple fine lines. It is perfect for simulating the texture of hair, fur, and grass.
