Hospitality Role
You are the face of our store. Every position you work in will deal with guest and team member interactions, so it is important to have a positive attitude every time you come into work. In this area, handling complaints, money, and fast-paced speeds is a given.
Jewelry
No excessive rings, necklaces, or wristbands.
Wedding rings and watches are acceptable in the FOH, not BOH.
Necklaces must be tucked into your shirt.
Health & Hygiene
Not allowed to work if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: Diarrhea, vomiting, jaundice (yellowing of skin), sore throat with fever, infected cuts or wounds.
Let a leader know if you have been exposed to any of the following illnesses: Norovirus, typhoid fever, shigella spp. Infection, E. Coli, Hepatitis A, or coronavirus.
Wash hands directly after you clock in & regularly throughout your shift.
You must wash your hands whenever you touch a contaminant (hair, face, phone, etc.).
Please use deodorant, especially in the summer months
Cell Phones & Gum
Cell phones are only to be used in an emergency and you must communicate with the leader on duty.
You are not allowed to chew gum or anything else while on the clock.

Kitchen Role
You are responsible for the quality of food. There is a high chance you will deal with raw chicken and not ready-to-eat food. The kitchen is a stressful place, and it is important to follow ALL Chick-fil-A procedures at ALL times.
Piercings
ALL piercings are limited to simple metal or clear studs.
No hoops or anything that dangles.
No septum, lip, or eye brow piercings.
Breaks / Age Restrictions
30-minute unpaid breaks for everyone who works over 5 hours.
Under-16s cannot work past 7 pm or more than 18 hours in a school week.
Over-16s cannot work past 11 pm.
Drugs, Alcohol, & Firearms
Strictly prohibited from bringing any drugs, alcohol, or weapons into the workplace.
ALL drugs (including e-cigarettes) are prohibited and may only be used at least 100 feet away from all entrances.

In Training Vests
Borrow 1 for each shift & return at the end.
Solid color polo and pants.
Black Non-slip shoes!
Finger Nails
Must be clean & well-kept.
Regular Polish, gel polish, or dip/NexGen is acceptable (acrylic is not).
No fake/false nails.
No rhinestones, jewels, or anything that could fall off.
In-Person Coaching
We strive to give all team members timely and effective feedback regarding their performance in operations and their intangible skills. With this, please expect conversations from your leaders that may point out what you’re doing well in and what you can improve in.
Time Off
When you need time off, you can request off by going through our scheduling app (Nation). Your requests off will need to be in at least 2 weeks in advanced (the system blocks you once the date is too close).

Hair / Facial Hair Policy
Hair must be pulled back/out of the face.
Hair must be natural colors (no blue, green, pink, etc.)
Beards - Must be clean & neat & with a clearly defined neckline.
If longer than 1/4", a beard net must be worn.
Nation Feedback
Through the Nation app, we can document different coaching sessions we perform, including but not limited to: tardies, call outs, procedural issues, insubordination, etc. Infractions may have a point value assigned to them, and different actions may be taken depending on how many points you obtain in rolling 60 days.
Availability
You were hired to fill a specific role in our restaurant (area and availability). The availability we discussed in your interview will be expected to be upheld for a minimum of 3 months. If you try limiting it within that time frame, your position may be forfeited.
