What is Acceptance
Final stage of grieving, occurs when the patient understands and accepts the fact that they are going to die. They may complete unfinished business and try to help those around them deal with the oncoming death.

First stage of grieving, when a person is first told of terminal illness. It occurs when the person cannot accept the reality of death or when the person feels loved ones cannot accept the truth.
