How fast should you be moving around the classroom?
Normal walking speed or slower.
What do you do when you get to Champions?
Give your teacher a high five (or similar) and put your backpack against the wall.
What do you do when going to and from the playground?
You WALK in a straight line behind your teacher.
When do you come to Champions?
Straight after school or after a school club.
When can you play in a group?
Outside at the playground, or inside AFTER homework time is over.
What do you do when you get to your classroom?
Hang up your closed backpacks, wash your hands, and quietly start your homework.
When the bell rings on the playground what do you do?
Stop what you are doing and come line up with your class.
When do you eat Champions snack?
Right when you arrive at Champions.
Who can be in your group?
Anyone, everyone in Champions needs to always be included.
How do students respect other students properties or something they are working on or playing with?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
What can you do during quiet time if you don't have any homework or finish early?
Read, write, draw, color.
How do you use the slides?
One at a time and only going down the slide.
When do you work on homework?
Right when we get to the classroom.
If your are frustrated with someone in your group, what should you do?
Try to talk to them about it, let the teacher know and help, or take a break from the group until you are ready to try again. You cannot kick someone out of a group.
What can you throw or kick inside of the classroom?
Air. (nothing)
When and where can you eat your own snack from home?
Anytime, outside of the classroom.
What do you do if you need to go to the bathroom or fill your water bottle?
Find a teacher to go with you.
When do you go back outside to the playground?
What does a good group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language.
What do you do when the class is ready to head to the playground?
Grab your backpacks, line up against the railing, walk to the playground, put your backpack at the wall, wait for your name before going to play.
Where should you be eating your snack?
Only at the tables.
When is Champions over?
What kind of noise will groups sound like?
Students talking at a medium level, enjoying themselves but not disrupting others or yelling at each other.
