Inform them at SOC on their client rights; address it with office via entering complaint in HCHB when client verbalizes it to you via phone or at the visit; educate client know HH is 24/7 availability for issues
What is the requirement for keeping supplies in the client's home?
Must be off the floor, in a box, box with lid/cover, no expired supply items

Internal QA audits including chart review, employee file review, office observation and home visits
What is necessary to give to client prior to HH dc visit?
NOMNC - at least 2 days prior to dc date; must have correct phone number for the payor source
What are the requirements for O2 safety?
Must have specific parameters for use (2 l/m continuous nasal cannula) (2 l/m at rest, 4 l/m with activity); O2 signs posted; O2 instructions; portable container if using concentrator; etc.
What are the requirements for supervision of HHA v. PTA/COTA?
CO: HHA 14d by RN if RN + other disciplines on case; if no RN/or RN discharged client, then therapy must supervise (not via phone, aide does not have to be present at that visit); Every cert period, HHA supervision must be in collaboration with client/aide/supervising clinician in person all present at same visit; For PTA/COTA/LPN, every 30d in person (not via phone, assistant does not have to be at the same visit)
