What is Harriet Tubman led slaves to the North for freedom on the Underground railroad. She took 19 trips helping different slaves escape. She was part of the Abolition Movement which was to end slavery. Because of her work, many slaves were set free and the United States outlawed slavery at the end of the Civil War.
