The video was opened by the recipient in the state of Georgia where the same video was considered illegal under Georgia law. Would either person potentially face any charges if the recipient in Georgia reported the video? Who? Why?
Yes, the sender of the video (in Florida) could face charges because although the video was sent in Florida where it was legal, it was sent and viewed in a state where it was illegal. The law would go by where the video was received because that is technically where the case took place.
