Who benefited from the printing press and why?
Mostly common people benefited because they were now able to view what the higher class was seeing. They could entertain themselves by books and started to work less. Authors also benefited because now their work was being seen by more people and their books became more popular.

Who did not benefit from the printing press and why?
The RCC (roman catholic church) did not benefit. The bible had now been printed and most if not all people had a bible to carry around. Common people stopped going to the church on a daily bases and prayed by themselves. In the eyes of the church, God was looking down and or frowned upon this. Scribes also did not benefit because they would hand write most books, and now because of the printing press, were going out of business. Noblemen as well as kings and knights were not benefiting because having a book was a sense of power, and put you up higher than others who did not have one.
