How did Truman and MacArthur differ over strategy in the Korean War?

MacArthur had wanted to attack China with the nuclear weapons the U.S. now held, but in doing so would create WW3 and be MAD. Mutually Assured Destruction. Meanwhile, Truman with the UN and South Korea, used the U.S English Army to advance into China. And by April Seoul was retaken and put into its original state.
