Some of Mr. Sparks' math students never pay attention to what he teaches in class and continually ask for help on the same types of problems. Although this is really annoying to the other students in class, Mr. Sparks wants ALL of his students to do well on the Chapter 5 math test tomorrow. So over the past two days he spent the entire class period going over again the problems he taught for the last two weeks. If Mr. Sparks works on math problems for his students for 55/55 minutes of math class and his students continually ask questions for 10/11 minutes of math class, how many minutes of math class did Mr. Sparks' students actually work out problems on their own?
5/55 minutes of math class which can be reduced to 1/11 minutes. Only 5 minutes each day. For some classes, it was less than that. Starting next week, let's pay attention to when Mr. Sparks teaches it the FIRST TIME and let's shoot for a larger amount of time that you guys work out problems on your own ;) You need to study tonight and really look at this study guide. I have full confidence that you will be very successful tomorrow on your test. For reals :p
