How did life change for the Naragansett people when they lost much of their native land to the Europeans?
Because they lost their land, many Narragansett sided or joined other Native American groups. Many were killed in battles that follow, and the Narragansett scattered. Some moved to Canada, while others remained on their lands even after much of their land had been sold.
