Monarch - gives land to nobles and knights for protection and loyalty. They rule the kingdom/country

Nobles - Lords, Barons, Bishops and Abbots. Lords&Barons owned land called manors (where some peasants work. And Bishops and Abbots were head of church or monastery

Knights - Provides protection to king and nobles. Not high ranking as nobles. Enforced laws and collected taxes.

Peasants - Commoners and serfs. They were uneducated and had highest population but lowest in importance. They had to serve a lord/knight.
