What is the first Covenant and who was it with?
In the first covenant God blesses Adam and Eve, promises to be with them and gives them creation to care for and charges them to have children. This covenant creates the first Holy Couple, and is between God and Adam and Eve.

They had sinned by eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil so God expelled them to prevent them from eating from the Tree of Life and being condemned to have mankind live forever in a state of sin and separation from God.
