What is no? More than half of the cheerleaders have a major that requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Cheerleaders spend at least 10 hours a week cheerleading, practicing, and tumbling.

What is cheering at the games? According to the cheerleaders, cheering at games at the university is their least favorite part because they can't show off their skills and they get nothing in return for cheering at the games.

What is because of injuries? Cheerleading is a very dangerous sport and many people get dropped or fall. That mat is helpful to catch the cheerleader.

What is the cheer mat? The cheer mat is the foundation of cheerleaders. Without the mat the cheerleaders would be unable to do many of the things that they do.

What is tumbling? Tumbling is hard for many cheerleaders, it can be difficult and they are required to do it a lot. They are motivated to learn new tumbling, but it is still hard.

What is grabbing the back of their shirt or supporting them during their flip? During practice many cheerleaders have a spotter to help them tumble without hurting themselves so they can master it to do it on their own.

What is stretching? Stretching helps relax your muscles. Cheerleaders use all of their muscles during stunting and need them to be ready.

What is nothing, everything is important. Every aspect of cheerleading is important. Nothing is unimportant to a cheerleader from the bows to the mat.

What is Division 2? According to the NCAA, Division 2 athletes need a 2.0 GPA after 96 semester hours.

The length that most cheerleaders have been cheering.
What is more than six years? The average cheerleader has cheered at least 5 years, but most of them have cheered more than 6 years. One cheerleader I spoke to has cheered for 16 years. 88% of the team said they will continue cheering, while the other 12% are only stopping because they are graduating.

What is the joyful facial expression the cheerleaders have to show their enthusiasm? No one wants to watch a sad cheerleader on top of a pyramid. Facial expressions are important.
