Yes, but you must also wear goggles because contact lenses do not provide any eye protection

What will happen if, during the lab, you wander around the classroom and talk to other students or interfere with experiments?

Automatic zero on the lab. You can erase the zero by coming in at an alternate time to complete the lab (within a reasonable time frame).

Can you turn in work after the deadline on Canvas?

No UNLESS it is due to a technical difficulty. However, you must document the difficulty at least 60 minutes before the deadline

Wash with cool water for 15 minutes (and then tell the teacher)

Tie it back and minimize the amount of hairspray used

What happens to hot glassware if you immerse it in cold water?

It might shatter (never do this)

If the glassware is hot, put it on the lab bench to cool off--you might even put a post-it near it to warn other students.
