A key function of all Child Wellbeing Units is to act as change agents, supporting and advising staff from their agencies to reshape responses to concerns about the safety, welfare or wellbeing of children and young people.

Definitely NOT! Community Services = significant harm If it is not possible to make a report immediately, a report should be made within 24 hours. In some instances you may be required to arrange medical care and/or inform police.

Ring back the CWU or CS centre and quote your reference number of the previous report and provide the updated/ new information/ concerns to be added to the report. Note: if this is a CS matter the update should be documented and sent to the SED and Principal.
