What is CPR and First Aid training?
When children are in care and weather conditions permit, either as part of a small group, a whole group, or individual activity, for no less than the following durations:
All programs under 2 years of age=30min daily
Program less than 5 hours ages 0-12 yrs=30min daily
Program more than 5 hours ages 2-12yrs=60 min daily
What is minimum daily outdoor time?
Each child should be restrained with individual seat belt, appropriate to the child's age and weight

What is the scheduling for ages 2 and under?
Before children are transported, you should obtained this information; when and where the child is to be transported, expected time of departure and arrival, and the transportation provider. It is valid for up to 12 months, for transport of children to and from the center not including off premise activities.
What are transportation permission forms to parents?
Separate play areas or time schedules shall be provided for children under two years of age unless fewer than 15 children of any age are in care.
If a center shares playground space with another center that serves children, a separate play area or time schedule shall be provided for each center.
Children shall not be allowed to play on outdoor equipment that is too hot to touch.
Children shall not be allowed to be bare-footed while outdoors if equipment or surfacing is too hot to touch.
What is the Outdoor Learning Environment?
All center administrators and staff members shall complete within one year of employment and review the plan annually. It Includes:
document the individual's professional development goals
continuing education, coursework, or training needed to meet the individual’s planned goals
be completed by the administrator and staff member in a collaborative manner; and be maintained in their personnel file.
What are Professional Development Plans?
-Blocks of time assigned to types of activities, including periods of time for active play, quiet play, or rest
-Times and activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children in care; and daily opportunities indoors and outdoors for: (A) free-choice activities (B) teacher-directed activities.
What is schedule for ages 3yrs and older?
21 years old or a licensed bus driver
Have a valid driver's license of the type required under North Carolina Motor Vehicle Law for the vehicle being driven or comparable license from the state in which the driver resides
Have no convictions of Driving While Impaired (DWI) or any other impaired driving offense within the previous three years.
What are the qualifications of a driver for childcare facilities?

for stationary outdoor equipment used by children under two years of age, shall extend beyond the external limits of the equipment for a minimum of three feet, except that it shall be required at all points of entrance and exit for any structure that has a protective barrier
for stationary outdoor equipment used by children two years of age or older, shall extend beyond the external limits of the equipment for six feet
What is Protective Surfacing?
Each center shall have a record of training activities in which each staff member participates, including copies of training certificates or official documentation provided by the trainer. This documentation shall be on file and current. This document is given by your consultant and shall complete within 30 days.
