Sunday AM Routine
At what time should children's ministry workers arrive on mornings they are scheduled? and what should they be wearing?

Scheduling is done by these individuals
Ms. Suzy and Ms. Tara, when needed.
There should always be a minimum of this many workers in each room with children at all times.
What is 2?
A child is crying in your classroom. When should you notify directors to assist?
Depends on the child and what their parents asked you to do. As a general rule, after ten-fifteen minutes of straight crying with you trying to calm and divert them. Never take them outside of the room without director intervention.
This is where you can find extra supplies for your classroom if needed.
What is the black storage bin in the classroom?
Who needs a sticker with their name on it to be in the classrooms. (Students)
Who is Every child?
When you have a conflict on a day that you were scheduled, who is in charge of finding your replacement?
Who is myself, and if I need help, Ms. Suzy or Ms. Tara.
How can you get a parent that you need or extra teacher help during the class?
Call on the radio for assistance.
When a parent comes to pick up their tearful child you should always...
Have a brief discussion with them about how it went and how you are excited to try again next time. Encourage them to keep trying until their child gets used to the classroom.

What is the "Blue Form."
This is what takes place between 9:00 and 10:00 on Sunday Mornings?
What is set-up, making sure the classroom is ready, talking about the plan for the morning with the other teachers and prayer at 10:00 with Pastor.

Ages 6-10 (Ages 11 and up go to the sanctuary)

Celebrate them and lead them in prayer.
What other times are Volunteers needed?
1. Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 for childcare for Youth Night and Play Rehearsal.
2. Fridays from 4pm-6pm for set-up.
3. Special Events: Brunch With the Pastors, Christmas Play/Candle-lighting, New Year's Eve Night Service.
4. Every Sunday for take-down.
This is what you would do if you had a concern during a Sunday morning or were unsure of what to do in any situation.
What is find your Kids Church director, Ms. Tara or Assistant, Ms. Suzy?
This is what happens when people sign up for dates late, or don't find a replacement or don't show up at all for dates they were scheduled.
We have to call people as the last minute, directors have to forfeit going into service and serve in that capacity, or worse case, shut down a room.
These people are allowed to change diapers.
Who is any adult worker who feels confident in there ability to change diapers and has parent permission.
A child is being so disruptive that it is affecting your instruction or other students... this is the procedure you should follow
What is... -Give a clear warning. After second warning, pull them aside and discuss better behavior choices. If all else fails please call for assistance.
What we need to make sure is done before, during, and after Sunday lessons, as needed
Prayer
Please give students an opportunity to share their prayer requests and have them addressed before they leave as a group or one-on-one.

What adults are not allowed in the classroom.
For security purposes, parents who are not Kids Church background checked, and who do not have a specific purpose related to Kids Church operation. If you are not sure, please ask.
