We have to be intentional with building our relationship with God. It is far too easy to let prayer, reading our Bible, spending time with God, etc. just slip through the cracks if we get busy. 

If you make God a priority in your life, the benefits will trickle down throughout your life as you make steps to grow and improve in your faith.

What are the different "types" of prayer that we can have throughout the day? Why are they important?

We have our little prayers that is just us talking to God throughout the day. This is our "pray without ceasing". 

We also have our intentional prayer where we make God a priority in our lives, and set aside time to pray and spend time with God without distractions.

Why is it important for us to focus on our identity as "A Child of God", instead of other identities?

Other identities, athlete, student, friend, bookworm, musician, etc. are all temporary. These things that we spend all of our time doing and being good at can be positive, but they can also be taken away from us. 

Our identity as a Child of God is eternal, and the only thing that can't be taken away from us through our faith and relationship with God.

What is the difference between righteous correction and judgement?

Judgement is done out of a sense of superiority or trying to put yourself above someone else. 

Righteous correction is when we go to someone out of love to call attention to their sin, or that they are drifting away from Jesus.

In Legalism, you do things out of a sense of pride, and out of necessity as you try to earn salvation. 

In Righteousness, you do things out of love for God. Not because you have to, but because you want to.

What is a placebo? How do placebos affect our lives today?

Placebo is something that tricks our brain into believing something is happening, or something is true, when it isn't. Notably a sugar pill that we are told is actual medicine. 

This is similar to Social Media influencers that spread information to influence the people that follow them into believing things, buying things, or acting certain ways.

Why does God form us into a community instead of individual believers?

We all have gifts that form one strong body when we work together. 

We are also able to help each other, share each other's burdens, build each other up, have fellowship together, etc.

What is the significance of "Give us this day our daily bread" that Jesus says in the Lord's prayer?

It is referencing the time that the Jews were in the wilderness and God made mana fall from heaven. They were told to only take what they needed each day. This showed faith that they knew God would provide day after day.
