All of us are sinners and sin is always level at the foot of the cross meaning not one of us is better than the other. It is not our place to judge them as well for them not to judge us. Hypocrites are those who use God to cover up their mistakes and do not actively try to overcome their sin. Christian actively battle with sin to better their relationships with God. Also, church is not a place for the perfect, it's a place for the broken and attending church is one of the many ways Christians can hold themselves accountable.

Jesus spent time with outcasts, tax collectors, and sinners without judging or endorsing their behavior. Christians are called to be salt and light by building relationships and sharing the love of Jesus, while also setting boundaries when certain relationships negatively affect our faith. The ground is level at the foot of the cross and being a Christian does not make us "better." Instead of judging or scolding others, we should humbly share what Jesus has done in our lives, invite others to know Him, and plant the seed while trusting God to work through us.
