If you are ejected from class, who do you report to?
If your instructor “sends you home,” immediately go to your CBO. Do not go home until you have seen your CBO. You will return to class the next day before 7:00am. Note: You will get a 4-hour ding for being sent home.
When should you submit your appointment request forms?
No less than 24 hours before the appointment.

You can only participate in ONE of the external training classes of your choice.

Professional behavior
Safe employees who adhere to OSHA
Have all your documentation(Driver's License, HSD, SSN, Proof of SF Residency, DMV PO)
75% or higher average grade for CityBuild.
What does OSHA stand for?
Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
How many dings will you receive for the following:
Reporting to training under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
There will be NO dings.
Just immediate termination
What is considered on time?
When you arrive early(6:30AM), notebooks out and in your seats.
They construct, erect, install, or repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as concrete forms; building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall and batt or roll insulation.
Carpentry.
What expectations does CBA mirror?
CBA mirrors the expectations of the workplace and union apprentice programs.
What are the safety rules you must follow?
Name at least 3
Avoid injury to yourself by always remaining alert and attentive.
Participate fully in tool and safety training, and always use tools safely.
Follow the directions of your instructor-supervisor. If you are unsure of what to do or how to use a tool, ask for clarification.
Always wear safety gear: appropriate clothing, boots, and PPE as required.
If you must take medication (over the counter or prescribed by a doctor) that may affect your ability to operate tools and machinery safely, you must inform your instructor-supervisors, Program Coordinator and CBO.
If you or a fellow trainee is injured at any time, report the incident to your instructor-supervisor immediately, even if the injury seems minor. *
What are some ways you may be terminated from the program without receiving disciplinary action?
Name at least 3
Initiating or participating in an activity that is intended to harm or discredit the program
Intentionally damaging property or equipment belonging to the training center
Committing acts of sexual harassment or violence(including bullying)
Violation of safety procedures.
If it is discovered that you no longer have a San Francisco address, we will have to regrettably remove you from the program.
When attending CBA when is the only time you do not need attend class?
When you are working as an apprentice.
What does DC 16 stand for and what trades do they encompass?
DC 16 stands for District Council 16, which includes Glazing, Floor Covering, Drywall Finishing & Painting
