What are the regulations for your desert tan undershirt?
"A standard Desert Tan short or long sleeved t-shirt will be worn under the ABU coat. Unit commanders may prescribe unit designation emblems, subject to the approval of the wing commander, not to exceed 5 inches in diameter, in cloth or silkscreen, worn on the left side of chest. Logos may also be placed on the back of the t-shirt with the approval of the wing commander. Neither unit designation emblems nor clothing company logos will be visible when wearing the ABU coat (shirt). Tan turtlenecks may also be authorized; thermal undergarments may be desert sand, white or cream-colored, and are authorized for wear as weather conditions warrant. T-shirts and turtlenecks will not have pockets and all must be tucked into the trousers."

Are cadets allowed to wear wigs?
Yes, as long as they are professional and follow hair regulation standards (males are not allowed to wear hair extensions, and wigs cannot be used to cover up out-of-regulation hair).

Highest promotional achievement and all other ribbons
Are JROTC/ROTC ribbons authorized for wear while in CAP Dress Blues?
Yes, as long as they are worn following CAP ribbons while the member is enrolled in the JROTC/ROTC program.
Is the wing patch mandatory on ABUs? What are the regulations surrounding the placement of the wing patch?
No. Your wing patch goes on your left shoulder, 1/2" below the seam of the sleeve, centered and facing upright.
What is the proper wear of the silver chrome-tipped belt?
For males, the silver tip will extend to the wearer's left. For females, the silver tip will extend to the wearer's right. In both cases, the front of the buckle will align with the fly and centerline of the blues blouse.
Can male cadets have a mustache and beard?
Mustache:
-Must be conservative
-Will not extend downward below the lip, above the lip, or to beyond the corners of the mouth
Beard:
-Not authorized without a waiver
-With a waiver, the all facial hair will not exceed 1/4 inch in length
-With a shaving waiver, facial hair must present a neat, clean, professional image
How many badges may be worn at one time on the Dress Blues uniform?
4, with commader's insignia not counting towards the 4 badges.
