How did Harriet Tubman help free a bunch of slaves during the Civil War?

She talked to the slaves in the confederate territory and she told the union soldiers where the warehouses for cotton and rice were. The soldiers torched the warehouses and houses of plantation owners then slaves ran to the riverbanks and got on union boats. More than 750 men, women, and children escaped.
