However, the farther you climb, the farther your line of sight will extend to the horizon. That's because parts of Earth that were concealed from view by its curvature are now revealed because your position has changed.”
The Earth is round and not flat.

What is a claim?
A state or assert that something is the case, typically without providing evidence or proof
What is an exclamation?
A sudden cry or remark
Identify the claim.
“When sunlight and raindrops combine to make a rainbow, they can make a whole circle of light in the sky. But it's a very rare sight. Sky conditions have to be just right for this, and even if they are, the bottom part of a full-circle rainbow is usually blocked by your horizon.”
Rainbows are in fact a circle instead of a half circle.

A thing said
Identify the claim.
“One study found differences in how we perceive, for example, joyous laughter versus taunting laughter versus tickling laughter, each of which activates connections between different brain regions. What this all amounts to is that laughter fosters rigorous brain-region connectivity that kicks in when we hear a laugh, as our brains work to decipher what sort of communication is coming through.”
The brain can decipher between the different types of laughter.

What does persuasive mean?
Believe something through reasoning or the use of temptation

“Then Lambert proved that if x is non-zero and rational then this expression must be irrational. Since tan(π/4) = 1, it follows that π/4 is irrational and therefore that π is irrational.”
Lambert believed that pi was irrational.
What is judgement?
The making of a judgment about the amount, number, or value of something; assessment
What is reason?
A cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event
What is perspective?
A particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view

“Vaccines not only provide individual protection for those persons who are vaccinated, they can also provide community protection by reducing the spread of disease within a population ”
Vaccines save lives.
Identify the claims (there are two).

Nicotine is also a toxic substance. It raises your blood pressure and spikes your adrenaline, which increases your heart rate and the likelihood of having a heart attack.”
