Cross out info in check out binder, put it onto shelf in the correct area (Hervey book or FMS book)
What do I do if I don't have a pencil?
1. borrow a pencil from the bucket
2. borrow from a friend
What should I do if I am too distracted at my seat?
Ask Ms. Hervey if I can move to an individual work spot or get a new seat

Go to the bathroom/get a drink if needed
How do you know if a book belongs to Ms. Hervey or FMS? Where do each go?
1. Check the inside cover for "Hervey"
2. Hervey books go on middle and top shelves or in labeled baskets. FMS go on bottom shelves or unlabeled baskets.
What do I HAVE TO HAVE to leave the classroom?

1. working by yourself, voice level = 0 (no talking), sitting in a smart spot
2. At poster on wall, on SmartBoard
What do I do with pencils that I borrowed or see on the floor/other tables?
Put into the sharp bucket if still usable or not sharp bucket if too dull
If Ms. Hervey is not in the classroom when you get here, what do you do?
What do I do if I can't find a book to read?
Ask Ms. Hervey, ask a friend, ask Mrs. Lairmore, look at the "Books We Love" board
