What would you do?
Alex dominates the conversation during a group project, dismissing ideas from another student, Jamie. Jamie looks upset but stays quiet. Meanwhile, Sam, another group member, tries to speak but is interrupted multiple times.
Respectfully ask Alex to listen to everyone's ideas and help Jamie and Sam speak up.
How can you show responsibility when trying to answer a question the teacher asked the class?
Raise your hand and wait for the teacher to call on you.
How can you show integrity during a test, especially when you're unsure of an answer?
Not looking at another classmate's paper or using ChatGPT.
How can you show safety during gym class or when you go outside?
Waiting your turn and not pushing others.
What would you do?
A classmate keeps interrupting the teacher when she is trying to give notes in a lecture. The classmate is yelling across the room to their friend.
Respectfully ask the student to stop. They are interrupting not only the teacher but also your education.
How can you show responsibility when working with partners or a group?
Keep your classmates on task and focus on completing the work.
How can you show integrity when working on homework or an assignment during homeroom?
Turning in my work instead of copying someone else's. I can also go to the teacher during homeroom and ask for help!

What would you do?
At the end of the class period, you notice there are colored pencils and markers on the floor by your desk group. You put all of your materials away but, you don't know who was using those.
Even if you weren't the one using them, all materials need to be put away by the end of class.
How can you show responsibility with your homework?
Completing and turning it in on time. Studying your spelling words and trying hard on your spelling tests.
How can you show integrity when you find a brand-new Stanley in the hallway?
Turning it in to the lost and found instead of keeping it.
How can you show safety in the classroom?
Not leaning back in your chair, having your supplies tucked under your chair or desk to avoid tripping hazards.

You notice that you've been feeling exhausted at school. It's hard for you to focus and you're starting to fall behind in your classwork.
Get into a routine to fall asleep at a good time. Eat a healthy breakfast to give you more energy in the morning.
How can you show responsibility with your papers and supplies?
Putting graded work in my binder. Keeping my binders organized. Coming to class prepared with the supplies I need.
How can you show integrity when you see someone being bullied?
Telling a teacher, making sure the person being bullied is okay, telling the bully to stop.
How can you show safety during a fire drill or other emergency?
Following my teacher's instructions and calmly walking in a line.
What would you do?
You and your ex (best friend or partner) are in a class together. The breakup was super messy and feelings got hurt. You hear a classmate start to talk bad about your ex for the whole class to hear.
Respectfully tell the classmate that it's not okay. We are all still classmates even though we go through ups and downs.
How can you show responsibility when you forget to turn in an assignment on time?
Being honest with the teacher and asking for an extension instead of making up an excuse (your grandfather can only die so many times before I start to think he is a zombie).
How can you show integrity during a game or gym?
Not taking extra turns, even when no one is watching.
How can you show safety when you see unsafe behavior (running in the hallways, climbing on furniture)?
Speaking up and reporting the behavior to the nearest adult.
