When you're doing classwork or have permission/direction from Ms. Sinclair to use it.

Silently go to the nearest tissue box, use the tissue, throw it away, sanitize my hands, and return to my seat.

Talking excessively, wandering the room and messing with peers' supplies, gum chewing or eating, possession of any electronic devices that aren't a school Chromebook, jumping up to touch the door frame, yelling in the hallways, Dress Code Violation (such as no belt, improper pants, refusing to tuck in my shirt, non-uniform Tiger sweatshirt outside of Tuesday, boots without flat bottoms)

When are the only two times I can throw something in the classroom, and what can I throw?

Water to put out a fire and heavy objects to hit a bad guy who broke into the school.

No paper, tissues, wrappers, or pencils/pens are allowed to be thrown.

How do I know if the teacher wants the class to be quiet? 

Rings bell twice, begins speaking, says our name with directions (i.e. 8th grade, eyes on me, mouths off).

Planner, pencil/pen, folder, Chromebook, classwork, and book or research materials.

By going out of my way to do what is the right thing to do in the moment or providing help to someone without being asked.

What can detentions be given for (give at least 3 things)?

Profanity, a third demerit, fighting with or insulting a teacher, 2nd time being caught with phone out, fighting with another student, stealing or cheating, damaging school property (including writing on tables), hitting classmates (even playfully)
