What do I do if I need to sharpen my pencil but I can't find my sharpener?
Raise my hand and ask Mr. G if I can go to the bin at the front of the room and sharpen my pencil.

What is a Brain Break?
What is it NOT?
A short 5 minute break to "reset" our brains so that we can learn better.
Scientists say that exercise and movement helps with learning!
It is NOT a time to stand or sit with your friends in the corner of the room.
What happens first if I chose to break a classroom rule or expectation?
Mr. G will remind you what you need to be doing or should've have done in that situation.
What does ADM mean in math class?

What should I do when the bell rings for recess or lunch?
Clean up my desk space and wait for Mr. G to dismiss you.

Crossed fingers and a "W".
How do you get a Kindness Ticket?
If you notice a classmate has done something kind, you can get a ticket and fill one out for them.
You can win a prize by doing kind things in class and being recognized for that from another classmate.
What do you do if you accidentally hurt someone's feelings?
Apologize to them and make sure it doesn't happen again.
The bussers are getting ready to leave at the end of the day before we go home?
Check to see if you have a class job to complete.

What are three good reasons to interrupt Mr. G during a lesson?
- Going to the bathroom.
- Getting a tissue.
- Cleaning up a spilled drink.
- Getting a bandaid.
How do we lose Free Time Minutes? List 3 possible reasons why we would lose Free Time Minutes.
- Not doing what is asked quickly and quietly. (For example, Mr. G asked you to get your math out 2 times but some of your classmates are talking to friends instead of getting their math out. )
- Being disrespectful to others in the class.
- Talking or blurting out during a lesson.

Ask a neighbour - "I missed what Mr. G said, what do we have to do?"
