If the teacher is teaching, put 1 finger in the air and wait for permission. If the teacher is not teaching, you may quietly go to the sharpener.

Writing journal, silent reading book, pencil bag or pencil, and water bottle.

What should I do if I finish my work early?
Silent read or work on unfinished work.
When is homework due, and can it be turned in late?
Homework is typically due on Friday unless Ms. Z assigns another due date. Late work will be accepted before the trimester ends, however you will lose points.

You will fill out a behavior reflection form and must have it signed by a parent and returned to school.

How do I use the calming corner?
If the teacher is teaching, raise a hand and ask if you can go there. If the teacher is not teaching and there is no one in the calming corner, you may go there. When 5 minutes are up you go back to your desk. If someone else is there, wait for them to leave then you may go.
I was absent! What do I do?
Get an absent sheet from Ms. Z, and read carefully to see what work you must turn in (it will be highlighted). Check Google Classroom for any missing tech work, and if you miss PE, fill out a makeup slip on Google Classroom.
