Silently walk over to the pencil sharpener without disrupting any other classmates. do not walk in front of presenter. sharpen pencil quickly and walk back to seat without disturbing anyone

What do I do if me or my classmate is being bullied? (physically, socially, or emotionally)

Tell a trusted adult. Stand up for your peers. Do not spread harmful or hurtful messages. Support each other. Show respect to all. Listen to each other. Help each other feel strong. Avoid being in harms way until resolved.

What choices can I make as a student to take ownership of my learning?

Write name on paper, do my best original work, review before turning in, stay organized, do not procrastinate, help others, any more ideas?

What do you do if you need to use the bathroom or get a drink of water?

Raise hand sign, once given permission sign Name, date, Time out and reason. Take pass. 

Go to designated location quietly without extra stops. once done, return to class and quietly sign time in. 

Do not disrupt other classmates or classes at any time during this process.

What is the procedure for if the fire alarm goes off? 

1. Silently and Calmly get up out of seat and push in chair (to keep walkways clear!). Do not take items or spend time getting things. We can replace stuff, but not you!

2. Silently, briskly walk to the door and join line following teacher/adult/ staff member out the nearest exit. 

3. Meet at designated location. (parking spot 110 for 703/ room 221)

How do I become eligible for a school non-academic trip? 

80% +Dojo Overall Average

90% Attendance 

No suspensions, no uniform violations, no more than 2 write ups, not failing classes

What happens if I choose to use my phone during school hours?

School policy is no personal device usage during school hours for students. First warning/reminder given at beginning of each day and posted in the classroom. 

if phone is seen during class, it will be taken for the rest of class. If there is refusal or delay culture member will be called to collect phone until the end of the day (if 1st occurance)

When is it ok to get up out of my seat?

to quietly go sharpen pencil or throw away trash. 

OR after teacher has given me permission for water, bathroom, etc.

How do I know if the teacher wants the class to be quiet? (Name 2-3 ways)

Ms. V will ring the bell

What is the process for transitioning from class to class? Explain in detail. 

Once class is over according to the teacher, the teacher will say "1" indicating to students to clean up their area, organize work, and be ready to leave. Teacher says "2" students stand up behind desk, push in chair, check for any left over belongings. Teacher says "3", students quietly, calmly, walk to the door and merge into a single file line. Quietly enter the hall allowed.

1. Report what you heard/ saw to the closest adult

2. Evacuate area and clear area from bystanders

3. Do not encourage or add to the escalation

4. Do not try to intervene for your own safety
