Yes, 2 years of the same foreign language is needed unless they meet requirements for a foreign language waiver.

When do you start applying for financial aid (Scholarships, Florida Student Financial Aid, and FAFSA)?
Scholarships have different deadlines so check consistently on what scholarships are available. The Florida Student Financial Aid Application becomes available Dec. 1 of your senior year and must be completed prior to graduation. The FASFA becomes available January 1 and is required for many scholarships and grants, including Bright Futures.
