How can we show respect during conversations?
If I'm speaking, I make sure my friends can hear me. I make eye contact, and speak at a regular speed. If I'm listening, I'm making eye contact. My voice is off, unless someone asks me a question.
What do I do if I need a pencil?
Raise my pencil and wait to be called on. When Ms. Carlson says it's okay, put my pencil in the green bucket and take a pencil from the blue bucket.
