Put your dull pencil in the dull bucket and get a sharp pencil from the sharp bucket.

Do we get to pick our seats?

Sometimes...

We will play Class vs. Teacher to ten points. If the class wins, students get to pick their seats. If the teachers wins then seats are assigned.

What do I do if I need to leave the classroom to go to the learning commons, restroom, or get water?

Write the abbreviation of where you are going and your name to sign out on the whiteboard.

What do I do if my table is out of a supply?

Send one person to the pink supply cubby to get what your table needs.

Where do I find my mail? Can I go to it whenever I want?

Mailboxes are next to the classroom library and we only go to them once a week.

Can I plug my computer in on my own?

No. Students can unplug their devices but do NOT plug them back in.

Any time there is a free moment you can go up and write it. Write your name or initials.

Where do I turn in my assignments?

Turn in assignments in the rainbow drawers according to the subject.

Where do I find whiteboards?

In the blue cart next to Mrs. Marsh's desk. Take the whiteboard on top and do not dig through them all.

Where does my water bottle go?

On the first shelf of the blue bookcase. It should never be at your seat.

How do I go to the nurse?

Let the teacher know you are not feeling well and they will write you a pass.

Who does our class jobs?

The Lucky Ducks will be responsible for the class jobs for the week. They might ask a friend to help them on certain tasks.

Where can I find out what special we have each day?

Look at the class calendar next to the blue cubbies.

Where do I find activities for soft starts during the morning?

In the white cubbies next to the backpacks. You may use any of the materials, but you must be respectful and clean them up when the bell rings for announcements.

What is the procedure for agendas?

We will write in them at the end of the day and get the Lucky Ducks to stamp it before packing up.

Do we have book buddies?

Yes, with Mrs. Griffith's 2nd grade class. Book buddies will take place on target day.

Can I get up at lunch?

Stay seated and turned in toward the table at lunch. If you need something, raise your hand.

I want to tell Mrs. Marsh something, ask for help with a situation, or ask a question that is not related to our lesson and not an emergency. What can I do?

Write her a sticky note and put it in her mailbox! Put the flag up.

Where do I find the scoop seats? How do I know if it's my turn to use them?

The scoop seats are in the back of the classroom near the class library. Look on the board to see if it's your class number turn to use them.

I found a twistable or marker! What should I do with it?

If it does not belong to your table, put it in the lost and found bin in the pink supply cubbies.
