In the morning during morning work, at dismissal time, or any time if you ask a teacher and get permission.
Can you bring in supplies from home, like other pencils or pens, erasers, etc.?
Yes- within reason. And the teachers can ask you to take these items home if they become distracting!
When can you use the stuffed animals in class?
Any time that you are working independently- as long as you prove that you can handle them with responsibility :)
What does it mean to be kinder than necessary?
To go above and beyond in showing kindness towards someone else. Not just the usual politeness or manners.
Can you name the three administrators of the Lower School?
Dr. Treiger, Mr. Miller, Mrs. Darsey
Where do you return things like homework, signed tests, or other forms for the teacher from your homework folder?
The turn-in bin called "Homework/tests"
Name the spot in our room where your water bottles go.

How often will the music change in our classroom?
Every week! Check the "Now Playing" board outside.
Name some behaviors that should NOT be going on in the lunchroom.
Socializing with students from other classes, getting up without permission when the red light is on, wasting food, running/playing, etc.
Are you allowed to visit your old teachers in the morning?
Yes, but only for a short time! Then you need to get to class!
When can you sharpen a pencil?
As we are transitioning between subjects/classes/activities, OR if you ask the teacher. (Ms. Smith is allergic to the pencil sharpener sound)
Can you use computers at indoor recess or during dismissal?
Nope!
What are Brownie Points?
The class can work together to earn compliments from any teacher! If you earn a compliment- a brownie point gets added! Fill up the pan and earn a brownie party! You can lose brownie points though...so be careful!
How should students act in Chapel?
Enter quietly, remain focused on Chapel the entire time, do not talk during Chapel. Respect the time in Chapel.

What should you do if you finish early?
You can independently read, work on any work in your unfinished work folder, or your teacher may have early finisher work for you to do!
Name items that do not belong in the recycling bin.
Snack wrappers, fruit cores, pencils, pens, tissues, etc.
What do you ALWAYS need to put on your paper? Hint: It's a trickier answer than you may think...

How often do the lunch duty assignments change?
Weekly! We will have lunch duty responsibility one day a week. That day will change each month.
How do you earn water bottle stickers?
Your teachers can leave you a notecard in your desk that says "Caught ya being great!" This is just a way to recognize when you go above and beyond in quiet ways. If you are given a card you can return it to the teacher at dismissal and pick out a sticker from the jar!
