How do you ask to go to the restroom?
You do not have to "ask" - go during independent work time when the pass is available.
How should you line up for lunch?
ABC/number order
What should go at the top of all papers?
First and last name and number
What should you do at the end of the day? Name 2 things.
Handwriting. Clean up your area. Stack your chair. Stack your crate.
What is the 1st thing you should do when you come in the morning?
Read the board. From TOP TO BOTTOM.
When should you shout out you need to use the restroom?
NEVER! During independent work time, silently place the pass on your desk.
How should you enter the cafeteria?
In a straight, silent line
Why do we have procedures?
To help the classroom run smoothly and keep everyone learning.
How should you carry your computer?
With two hands! Cradle, like you would your baby brother or sister.
Where should you put your backpack and jacket when you arrive?
How many students are allowed out of the room for the bathroom at one time?

What is the procedure for getting a new pencil and where do you place a dull pencil?
If your pencil is dull, place it in the bucket marked 'dull'. To get a new pencil, find any bucket/cup around the room. There are 7 places to get a new pencil. NEVER open drawers or tote boxes to get new pencils unless told to.
How do we transition to other classes?
In less than 1 minute, we should be:
in a STRAIGHT line
in ABC/number order
voices are OFF
What is the noise level expected during morning work time?
Coffee shop mode - silent voices.
What should you do if the stalls are full?
WAIT your turn silently or return to class.
NEVER go to another restroom without permission.

Stay in your seat. Talk with a soft voice.
Where do car riders go when dismissed?
Where do bus riders go when dismissed?
Car: straight line on the right side of the hallway. NO small groups.
Bus: Listen for Mrs. Sullivan to tell you what class to go to. It will be different.
