If it is work time, one student at a time can just leave. If we are in the middle of a discussion, raise your hand. Use the Kiosk to check out (7th grade bathroom) and take a physical pass with you.

You will line up quietly in the hall up against the wall.

What if I need to go to the nurse?
Raise or hand or come talk to me. You will sign out using the kiosk and then take a physical pass.
What if there is no teacher?
Wait quietly and patiently until the bell rings. If no one shows, send one person to the office to let them know.
How do I know if I have missing work?

Do I need to fill in my planner when I am absent?
Yes. Find a partner and complete your planner so you know what you missed.
What if I need to go to my locker?
Ask for permission and then sign out on the kiosk and take a physical pass.
Is it okay to hang out in a room if there is no adult?
What does an orange circle in Schoology mean?
You are missing that assignment. A teacher has to manually mark that something is missing which means they have looked for your assignment and it is not where it should be.
What should I do if I know I will be absent?
Have a parent call or email Mrs. Chavez in the office and then check in with your teachers for work you will miss.
What if I left something in class?
Check on top of the Chromebook cart for any items left in class. At the end of the week, all missing items will go to the lost and found.
Can I get up and leave when the bell rings?
No. You should be given time to clean up and then you should wait to be dismissed.
What if I have a late assignment and I'm ready to turn it in.
Turn it in and notify the teacher. If it's past the due date, the teacher will not know to go back and look for it unless you notify them.
Where do I get the missing work for this class?
There might be a link in Schoology or check the binder.
What do I do before I leave for the next class?
Put all supplies back where you got them (plug in your chromebook), pick up any trash around you, and push in your chair.
What if I'm late to class?
You will be marked tardy. After 3 tardies, you will be given a lunch detention.
