Don't interrupt or blurt, raise your hand, and wait to be called on.
When we leave the room, what should we do with our stuff?
Put away things in your desk neatly, close chromebook.
How should we be in the hallway?
Two on blue and silent.

It's work we do quietly and before we start anything else.
What do I do if I have to use the restroom, get water, or get a tissue?
Use the hand signals posted on the front of the classroom.
What do I do with unfinished work and morning work?
Put it in your blue folder.
How should students respond to adults?
Politely. Making eye contact and using good manners by saying "Yes ma'am. No ma'am. Yes sir. No sir. Please and thank you."

What do I do when I'm finished with my morning work and daily math?
Start XTRA MATH and Reading Counts/Freckle.
What if I need to leave my seat?
Raise your hand unless it is an emergency.
What do we do when Ms. Coates tells us to do something?
Stop what we're doing and do what was asked.

We are kind to others and kind to our school.
Can I work with a partner on morning work?
No. Because this work should be done by yourself.
What if I break a classroom rule?
Get a card. 1 card is a warning. 2 card is last warning. After that you lose a dojo and half of recess or silent lunch.
What happens if I've already gotten 2 cards and still don't follow directions?
Lose all recess and a call home for not fixing the behavior.
What happens if a friend wins something and I don't win? How should I act?
Happy and supportive. Celebrate other's accomplishments.
