Quietly show them a quiet cayote sign or alert the teacher or move seats quietly away from those distarcting you
What do you do if you have to use the restroom?
raise your hand quietly. Do NOT come up to the teacher.
Explain what you should do when you hear the phone ring.
Stop what I'm doing, be silent, and alert the teacher.
What does WORK TIME sound like?
Silent! Respectful of all learners. Whisper please if you need anything.
What does voice level 0 mean?
Voices are completely turned off.
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Read Quran independently, complete any Islamic Studies worksheets or prompts in journal that are incomplete. You may also work on memorizing vocabulary or read through past content and material.
What should I do if I don't have a pencil?
Go get one from the pencil bucket.
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
Give 5...ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed.
How do students respect other students things?
By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.
When can I use the bathroom?
During work time, not during lesson time. You still need to ask the teacher before you go and you must sign out. Only one student at a time. Unless it is an emergency.
How many people should be in the bathroom at one time?
What do you do when it's not your turn at small group?
If it's not your turn at, you're doing work quietly at your desk and waiting for your turn
How should you prepare for the next class
When teacher rings chimes or stands in the middle of classroom to get attention and tells you to prepare for next class quietly put things away and switch to transition mode (reading quietly). It shouldn't take more than 5 seconds. Nothing should be on your tables

quietly and immediately prepare for the class by getting your materials and sitting quietly reading Quran
When can I sharpen my pencil?
During morning business or worktime. Not during teaching or lesson time.
Where can I find the expectations and consequences?
On the walls next to/above the board.
How should you walk in the hallway at all times?
Silently, in a single file line, with your hands to your side.
How should I use the calm corner in the classroom?
Responsibly. It should be used one person at a time and only as a tool to reset.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, having patience with each other, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and practicing self space.

What does a reminder mean in the class? When are they given? What happens after?
Reminders are given for different negative behaviors. More than 2 reminders may mean further consequences like writing an email to parent..or being sent to Ms.Aboubakr's office
Should you have your phone out or laptop out at school ?
No Never unless teacher has allowed laptops
What should you do if I am talking with another adult that walks into the classroom?
